Loc Album

My name is Erin Indecisive. I am locing my hair. The twists are binding together, and I'm not going to fight it. While I am blogging here, I will document through images on Fotki. Feel free to check out my journey, thus far.

Good luck. Palm rolling may not be the best way to maintain really small locs, but if it works for you, great. You may also want to consider learning how to use a tool like a latch hook or nappylocs tool or some kind of needle-like tool that allows you to thread your loc through its "eye" and pull the loc through it's own roots. The method allows you to tighten to the scalp (but please, not too hard or too often) and keep the strands in place a little better. The challenge with locs in general and even moreso with tiny locs is that they tend to intermingle and need to be separated. When you tighten them in this way, you catch more "stray" hair and make it harder for your locs to "marry" unless you want them to. When you want them to marry, you can literally bind them together using the tool of your choice.

It's a stunning image, a colossal character.
By the way, I wonder what he sang. If you know - write.
